Words I Couldn't Say

Stuck in my throat,

They wouldn't come out before,

It was hard for me to say,

"Je t'adore"

I've thought it forever,

But it's still extremely new

To say it out loud,

"Aishiteru" (愛してる)

I feared it would lose meaning

If I spoke it endlessly

But now I just can't help it,

"Wo ai ni" (我爱你)

I smile because of you

So I'll say it every day,
