Words Last
The words of old and wise, of the times and the past taught me that words last. Words of hate and words that sometimes shake, they last. Last longer than the broken relationships and homes that inspired them, longer than the racism or hatrid that fired them. Words when written, when shared, words that make it past the disapproving stares, they last, they inspire, and they spread fast like fire. Igniting a flame in hearts that burn and yern to speak of their pain, exstinguishing the fear that the world has enforced over the years. Words that are spoken, find coals that are broken, and light fires worth being spoken about.
