Words for love

Something so beautiful, yet not physical.

One can say it's quite lyrical.

Words that are read cannot describe its essence,

something worth mentioning in your presence.

It is quite indescribable, the feeling you get,

when putting emotions and soul into it.

The best poem's yet, share deep secrets,

they give their heart for you to keep it.

Colors and objects will not compare

to poems that show despair.

Six years old, writing emotions

in a notepad covered by oceans.

My little black book that expressed my feelings

thinking back now, emotional healing.

I can mostly admit that it is therapy,

telling my life with words means so much to me.

You can be an open book,

all you need is a catchy hook.

However, getting others to listen,

requires something so much more than I can mention.

But reaching the listeners soul... well,

that can drag you through hell.

What Poems mean to me,

shows most importantly,

that others feel what I do.

I am not alone in this world an neither are you.
