Words In A Love Song

The meeting did not last very long,

but it happened just like the words in a love song.

Beautiful is what he called her,

and she just smiled and said "thank you, sir".

The smile was efficient enough that he asked her to dinner,

But she said no.

She was already teeny-tiny but felt the need to be slimmer.

Now the tickle in the pit of her stomach is going to be gone,

Because she just blew the chance for her life to be like the words in a love song.
