The Words Of A Mirror
Today you'll look at me,
To find out where you flaw,
But my lady, what I see,
Bewilders me in benevolent awe.
A smile that turns the dead,
A smile that never dares to frown ,
One that's prone to spread,
One that deserves a crown.
Though your smile makes me quiver,
Sends cracks down my foundation,
There's more beyond this sliver,
Allow for clarification.
Eyes shining blue,
A color above the others,
They tilt my thoughts askew,
And change fighters in to lovers.
A field of golden hair,
A sun beyond the waves,
It shines brights and even glares,
On the darkest of our days.
And Although
I'm merely just a reflection,
The real you needs no improvement,
You've already reached perfection.
