The Words of Moiety

I loved you -

When you gave me little gifts in exchange for my silence;

When you said that long sleeves made me look gorgeous to hide the bruises on my skin;

When you were too far gone and had to ''have your way" with me;

When you crawled into my nightmares the way monsters creep under the beds of children;

When you decided that installing a software on my phone to track my every move was neccessary since the world was cruel;

When you said you loved me too.

But wait -

He gives me gifts because he wants to surprise me;

He says that I look beautiful in whatever I choose to wear;

He always makes sure I am comfortable around him;

He sleeps next to me when I have nightmares;

He gave himself three heart emojis as his contact name on my phone to show his affection;

He says he loves me, and shows it too.
