Words for my Lover

You deserve to know what it is that you do to me.

A face framed by rich chocolate eyes and a glistening smile;

your every word or deed somehow leads me back to loving you.

I have never felt so strongly about someone as I do with you.

It can be quite baffling, but in a good way.

I am my happiest and best version of myself around you.

To say I enjoy every moment spent with you would be putting it lightly.

With every kiss I find myself fighting the urge to say "one more."

With every touch, as cliché as it is to say, I melt between your fingertips ;

only later to be found craving that same warmth while in my bed alone.

With every word exchanged, know I am always willing to listen even for a lifetime if I may be granted that blessing.

With every smile, I hope it to be accompanied by another.

For it is with that smile I fell in love with.

There are no one else's "bug" eyes I'd rather spend an eternity looking into.

There are no one else's health talks I would stand.

There is no one else who I would allow to know me in the way that you do.

While there are many things that are left to be learned about each other,

there is no one else I would rather spend a future with other than you.
