Words Play
Words Play Poem by D'Vante Jerrell Chapman a.k.a. The Black Love Poet
They stage playing games
I'm directing plays
See the difference between me and them
Is that I got a playbook where I guide people to where I'm setting up the plays for my players to go
While they use people as pawns and then make a million and one excuses of why they can't do it themselves
Give me life or give me the keys to your heart
I'm gone get that life lock protection
That never make you question
How I feel about you
I got that long conversation that mentally stimulates her mind, rejuvenates her heart, and provides nourishment to her body and soul
She say I got that cologne curve
Cuz I'm curving all these stepsisters to make it to my Cinderella
I curve her enthusiasm with my sex appeal
Give her something good she can feel
Call me the Kool-Aid man
Cuz her sweet love and sweet personality got me grinning, cheddar-cheesing, and thinking I'm on a tropical island where the cool breeze massages my skin and kisses my feet
Just a little words play
To help brighten your day
