The Words of Poetry

Words can capture everything

Scents and sights

Thoughts and emotions

Things that a memory cannot

They give more detail than a movie

More description than a picture

Poems express things in a lyrical way

More beautiful than any other form

Poems make beautiful creations in the imagination

They show that words are worth more

More than any other form of expression

Poetry teaches importance of subtlety

How one soft word can impress more

Than screaming or fighting

Views can be shown in a peaceful flow

Not just harsh impressions

They are musical arguments

Delicate persuasions

And they show fighting doesn't have to be physical

And expressions can be elegant
