words for rage

an itch

climbing up my fibers

keeping me from work

and calling me down

an explosion inside

like fire escaping a cage

punching my mind and I'm gasping

so much more on the inside

i can feel every bit of it

dance won’t get it out

singing won’t work

until a single cry there

breaks through the fabric of me

screaming, calling

Attention

on deaf ears
