Words, They Hurt

Words are the virus exposed during youth

Words are amazingly powerful

they contain power most dont understand and others haven't mastered

Words, they are hurtful

sticks and stones are no match for Words

Words laugh at broken bones and silly bruises

Words skip the flesh

they enter the ears and invade the brain

Words conquer the mind

they destroy the foundation

they manipulate thought

they hide in plain sight

Words force the doubt and insecurity

that make you question sanity

they are tricky

Words are freeing, but also enslaving
