Words Unsaid

I loved you so long ago

In the world of the breathing

But now I lay here thinking

Did it show?

Did you know?

It's been so long since you passed on

And longer since we spoke

It's now, I think

My you were a rather handsome bloke

But seasons changed

and years passed

Memories faded

and lives ended

And journeys met their ends

Hearts are touched

souls strenghtend

Lessons learned

advice taken

But, still, I remember my love for you

in the land of the living

And forever will my heart stay true
