Words unspoken

I know you went through a struggle .I know you don’t understand us “new age” kids but things have changed since you were growing up since you dropped out of school. The problem is that you pretend to try to understand and fix new problems with old solutions.

When you say I’d never do this… or I would never get away with…. It puts us down.It's a new time and things are so different and because they are different you judge it with negativity you act as if one of your kids were to do this you would distance yourself from them. That's why we don’t open up to you. You just don’t understand and it seems like you don’t to want or care to understand.
