Words in the wind

The silence in the air calms me Your word echo though my mind Just for once I with you would hold me My hands reach out for you Yet air is all I feel Where have you gone You lift without saying goodbye All I have life is a memory of you Oh I will never forget you You will always haunt me with the sweet lullaby of your voice Funny how I thought you were all I needed As I stand here alone and unsure of who I am This lullaby keeps haunting me over and over But the truth is Your voice is nothing to me And you were never there So this sweet lullaby is something I made up to make you look good But in the end no one looks good
