Words In The Wind
Here comes the wind,
Whispers, talks, and cries.
I listen to the stories of heros, lovers, and enemies as they die..
The words in the wind,
take me to the tallest pyramid in Egypt
to the cold beauty of the Rocky mountains,
take me to the far ruins of Rome,
to the quiet peaceful garden at home.
the words in the wind
remind me how short time is
the wind whisper its goodbye
for today, and write the words on the page.
