Words of the World

Adventure on the open seas. Winding trails wrap endlessly.

Supplies packed tight and hat in hand, out to chart undiscovered lands.

No regrets behind, only open skies.

Free to wander, free to sigh.

I write my stories in a book with hopes that society will one day look,

and see the reality across the globe.

Many are hungry, lost, and cold.

America's wealth is blinding eyes, leaving poverty between the lines.

To educate and travel far this is my dream and upward call.

With classes underneath my belt,

I learned to grow, I learned to spell

words that went beyond the page like desert sands and ocean waves.

There is a purpose in all things. Listen to the words that bring

happiness and joy complete.

This is my story- this is my plea. Love one another, rejoice, and sing.
