Work

I keep my head down and move through the day, but the whole time I'm thinking, working on my next move.

Crunching numbers, thinking for the best choice of words and working on my next move.

I stay up late at night thinking, should I sleep or study; plan for my future or what I'll do tomorrow. All the while I'm working on my next move.

I think of what I could have done, but my mind is so scrambled. I cry some nights just to try to clear my mind, it only seems to make things worse, because I can't stop planning my next move.

My life is surrounded by lessons and things to be taught. Test after test but I feel like I fail them all. But I can't stop working for my next move.

I continue to think and think, I know its driving me insane, but my heart keeps whispering to me to work out my next move, as if it knows what's to come.

My mind is on constant alert, thinking and thinking, crunching and crunching, but that tightening in my chest tells me to continue and work on that next move...
