Work
By Nashon Kemp
Sweat beads falling down my for head blood stained shirt the
Color of old red... half my body down in the grave sun beating down on my body blood boiling like a pot of water...drenched in sweat blood and tears but still have some miles and steps to go ...the longest and hardest challenge ever...leaving my bones worn and feeling old...but in the end i know ill be quit cold....so breathless like weeds the sun chokes my breath out dry... parched mouth drier than a river in the desert ....trying to cling on to life but this heat beats down upon me and rings me dry...memory slipping how long has it been I can't think straight I don't know y delirium setting in... I'm losing my mind...its all running from me ...but I'm trying to chase it when I'm dizzy and its all a straight line...is this the climax the incline of my life or is it just a bad time I put all this work in and in return it just seems I've gotten nothing... they those that work got the most to lose I say those that work got the most to use ...I've been abused but hush let's not talk of the past...heart breaks happen its just how it passes ..that hurts the most choking u out..I'm like a flower with no dirt no sun no rain I'm eventually gonna die its just how It ends...like a rose how ever I can rise back up again into the driest of places so don't count me out cuz I had to work to make it and I ain't giving up yet I got some hills to climb and some things to still gain..so like a fan in the summer I'm just gonna spread out my arms and collect what's coming to me...holes in my past so I patch things up for my future...the sun is shining bright so that on my future its shedding some light...
Sincerely
Mr. Sublime
