⁶ Go to the ant, you sluggard; observe her ways and be wise!

Complacency and Lip Service

Don’t rock the boat while sailing is smooth,

we’ll see you when we get there.

As long as safely we are afloat

let someone else pay the fare

A way of life we made that way

a free ride for my expectations.

Let me fight any change today

I don’t want another rotation.

Now programs will not work for me

but I’ll say what one likes to hear.

I’ll develop that into a form of art

to cover my unchanging rear.
