Work in Progress

She's a work in progress... Every day she feels the pain... In a process of which she lies... Sometimes with nothing to gain... A heart is like a flower. At times its open and alive Every petal is hope. At times it fades and dies. She wishes on a star tonight. Wanting something more. Then sometimes she just says a prayer. facedown on the floor. Would you be hers if she asked you to? Feelings that she masks. That last look she saw in you and She realized she's afraid to ask. A fight with herself. No one can bother to observe. Then again no one really wanted To really see whats inside her. Lost...Alone...inside herself Feelings she can no longer hide. A change of perspective Then She no longer needs to cry. She'll be okay. She has to. Whats hope to do with this? She feels it as she looks down and sees Blood no longer needs run down her wrists. She's a work in progress... getting stronger each and everyday... Maybe during the process... She'll show you she can find her way.
