Working Roots

My body is brown, But I feel like gold in the sun, My grandparents worked with the sun on their backs to make money tilling the ground, Just another day they sacrificed so their kids could have fun, They have my love and respect so its my turn to run, Not from my problems or responsibilities but towards them, head on, So when its my turn to lay with them I can say I did my best to put out my sun
