Working to the Top
It started as fun
Something to do in the sun
Who knew it would grow
To a talent you'd proudly show?
As you become more sure
You want to do more
Start to improve your skill
And move forward uphill
Your father taught you what you know
So once he could no longer show
You continued your progress
And refuessed to digress
Practice, practice, practice
Until you leave the crowd breathless
But little were they aware
You still had more to share
Find a way to challenge the norm
You'll be taking everyone by storm
They know that you're unique
And waiting for the rest of the winning streak
The crowd waits for you to step in
Waiting for your next win
Watching for the rest
They know you are the best
A tear-jerking show
Satisfying everyone who knows
You take your final bow
And leave them saying wow
