In a World

When I remove my skin,

only bones remain.

We live in a world,

where we're all the same

but I'm still different from you.

Our paths are different,

our goals differ.

Our dreams differ,

our struggles are different.

They judge me

and you judge them.

We live in a world,

where the internet defines us.

The stereotypes are broadcasted.

Twitter,

Instagram,

Facebook,

Snapchat.

They pin me against you

and you against me.

We live in a world,

where we are all human

but there is a constant battle of who matters more.

Is it me?

Or is it you?

Does it really matter if I'm pink

and you're blue?

When I remove my skin,

only bones remain.
