The World

I ask them to listen

Not on a surface level

“Like a pot on the ground”

But question themselves

Why is that “Pot” on the ground?

If a tree falls in forest and no one was there

Does it make a sound?

If the police is knocking at the door but your faded do you still feel the pound?

I say listen not only with your ears but with your eyes.

Listen to the poor starving children all over who cry

Listen to the Mother that just lost her world

because her son just died

I said open your eyes

Read (through) the lines

Like a spark needed to jump a car

It takes time

Be patient and stay positive

Positive like you getting jail time for crimes

The world has made me want to seek justice where it is denied

Using God as my guide
