The World

After some time alone,

I soon realized that the world doesn’t know what I know.

Sure people will tell me I should hate the man who ruined my life,

but it also tells me that I could of stopped him and then I would be alright.

I’ve learned to love the man the world tells me to hate,

because I know deep inside he’s just as afraid.
