The World

I look around and all I see

Is nothingness staring right through me,

I'm clothed in white yet in the dark,

it's swallowing me fast.

I panic, I gasp for breath.

None comes.

My mind races, waiting, hoping for the sun.

It stops.

The racing, panic, darkness,

I wake, rising from the dark to start another day.
