A World Far beyond belief

I can feel the

pain now

the numbness

that once was there is

gone 

Nothing but a cold heart

is left

The tears build up 

inside her

but she will

show no pain

She will not fall to 

her knees

She will stand.

She will stand as tall as she was

before him.

Not after will she show no

signs of weakness

She is stronger now

Although she

denies it.

The fact is there that she is who she is now

because of him.

She is stronger now 

Although she'll never admit it

He subjected her to the numbness

that once felt so dear to her

But now that numbness is gone

What is left?

Strength.

That is what is left.

He left a piece of him

inside her as to say

You'll make it.

I won't be there to

see it but I know

you'll do it.

And although 

she tries so hard

not to believe

it

She can't help the fact that

it's true.

Every single thing

is

true.
