The World Fears
I look into the sky wondering at how vast and blue it is
Feeling myself grow smaller and smaller.
My mind then slips in to the abyss.
I'm so small and fragil.
Compared to the world I am nothing but a speck, not even a millisecond in time.
When I am gone who is going to remember a speck?
As I fall deeper and deeper I start to think I'm finished and the darkness has taken me for good.
Then I see a fine light beautiful, bright, and peircing the darkness with pearl white pillars
It touches me-- no-- it grabes me; I starts to be pulled out and the darkness in my soul was replaced
I almost forgot i needed...
Courage.
The one thing that pulls me throught the darkness each time.
The thing I can not live without while tring to live.
I start to lauch a little at my short loss in sight.
The light then places me on the highest point of the world.
As I stand there, instead of the earth looking down on me I looked down on it.
My chin high and my sholders back.
This world will not concour me.
I will concour it.
The fear of disapearing into its many layes will not halt my steps they will make them stronger,
I will become a being of courage that will live life to the fullest and never fear earths mighty embrace waiting for me.
Now I will be wating for the same embrace as well.
With out fear of death or the abys. not even the fact my speck of life means nothing now;
I'll make in mean something later.
I have the courage to do it and you will never see me with out it from here on out.
