The World That Glows

If the lyrical words from pages of gray and white

That have reflected knowledge and strewn light all around

Were to enter my mind as an enlightened crown,

Then who would I be to question.

For surely, such a design was intentioned.

I would like to think of a pretty plan that only I am privy,

But who would I be to think such a thing.

For certainly, poetry is for all of us who have more to bring.

If beyond selfdom towards the wider masses that glow,

The world is much more beautiful having learned the rhythmic low,

Then who would I be to question.
