The world has changed

Because I love you… the sky isn't blue. The sky is painted pink because of your lips you kissed me with under the golden sun, whispering that even it cannot compare to how radiant I truly am.

The words you speak to me are held in my heart. That’s how love should be.

Because I love you… I’m never left in the cold. Whether it is your favorite jacket I keep taking from you, your arms ready to hold me, or your warm beating heart, you never leave me to freeze. From my well being, to each tiny cold toe, a space in your heart has room for it all. That’s how love should be.

Because I love you… fear isn’t real. Brave is what you have made of me, and fear is a word I no longer know. By my side, any chain from my past has been broken, and any new tribulation will be conquered. The way you make me feel, is breathtaking. That’s how love should be.

My head is in the stars, searching for one that is brighter

than the soul I possess—The person you have helped me become.

I am no longer an enigma, because I love you.
