The World As I Can See It

Apart from nature, I believe that the world is humanities creation.  Our way of life, standards of society, religious and political preferences are all determined by us. The world is simply a product of our notion. Humanity has the power to eliminate poverty, discrimination and all world problems created by society. We have the power to create and destroy.

The power is truly in the people. How we choose to use that power is entirely up to us.

Power is the true test to a man’s character. Our choices show our character and the kind future we want for our world.

Indeed the world needs change. I’ve constantly heard the idea that change cannot happen on its own and that change begins with us. It would be nice if we can live in a classless society free of discrimination and poverty but the fact of the matter is there will always be some conflict in the world. There will be disagreements. As humans we have an everlasting desire for more. And to gain more someone must lose. Someone will always receive the short end of stick.

I do not lack faith in the idea that we can create a better world, but my faith does fall short in the fairytale that all our problems will seemingly go away.

As individuals, the biggest communication problem is that we don’t listen to understand, we listen to reply. We should consider the perspectives of others to create a more unified society. A better world is a result of better people.

The world as I see it, is what we make of it.
