The world I come from

I come from a world

where there is violence

Women

being mistreated

by men

because they have no father figure

you see having a father

 can make a difference

I come from a world

where people would rather

die than live

those who die

are only remembered

by those who love them

there are fake friends

in this world

who grieve after the fact

their friends are dead

I come from a world

where men

would rather

repeat the same mistakes

as their father

rather then

being a better man

I come from a world

where people

would rather

blend in

the wrong crowd

then to do better
