World of lies

We can meet in the street

And dance until our hearts are content

And looking at you tonight i know for a fact you are truly heaven sent

My arms they extend and the sky welcomes them

Making me a star tonight

But when I go home, after we part

And become admits to all the fights

I lift my arms and feel the stars

Gently caressing my arms

Welcoming me to a land above sea

Where my eyes can rest

Away from all hate

The lies which leave that sour taste

From wicked boys I was left with.

Now I am free to dance

And jump higher to land with my feet resting in the sand

Above the world of cries

Unheard and masked by all the screaming lies.
