This World is Mean

Do I deserve this treatment?

I don't feel like I do

but I have made mistakes 

and maybe this is a way to get me back.

Or this world is just a cruel place 

and I have to learn where I fit in.

I hope this isn't forever 

but if so, joining them sounds better and better each day

unfortunatley my conscience just won't allow me to sneak in.
