The World of Nature

The flowers glisten

each with it's own hue

they remind me of the many people in the world

and how we differ; me and you

The trees sway from side to side

in the cool breeze

they remind me of peoples' busy days

family, work and school to squeeze

The birds fly overhead

in V formation

they remind me of peoples' knowledge

that help us learn information

A cat attacks a helpless bird

that just hatched, I add

that reminds me of the evil people

that makes the world so sad

A bear conceives twin cubs

and teaches them to hunt for a while

that reminds me of people who do great things

and that's what makes me smile!
