The World Needs Saving

All around me I can see the death and dispair

The gloom that looms over the face

of the common man beyond repair.

As people need courage to reach into the Great Space,

they lack the ability to help their fellow man

The world needs saving.

Someone needs to right the world's wrongs,

to walk throught the Valley of Doubt,

And sing the peacful songs

That teach the world what life is all about.

They lack a healer, a shaman, a man.

The world needs saving.

All around me, I see illness

Of the plaque that struck the martyrs

A world that is a mess

of Fallen and dirty waters.

I can, will be the Doctor

Becasue the world needs saving.

I will set the world right

by daring to reach beyond myself

and fighting the good fight,

by not collecting my dreams on a shelf.

It starts today, with one victory.

Because I need to save myself by saving the world.
