World Peace

Evil comes in all shapes and sizes.

In different shades, even as dark as the night is.

Throughout history, evil has always been there.

The great depression, the holocaust, all things gone and loss and still to this day,

No one can change it even if they try.

Our world is truly messed up,

War and greed have taken over,

While love and gratitude have been forgotten.

The humans on this earth think not of others,

But of themselves.

People protest about changing the world,

But how far have they really gotten?

Although it is true by saying “one step at a time can make a huge difference”

Who’s going to be the first to follow through?

I despise how poorly our world is treated,

Lost and forgotten,

Sorrowful and sad.

But better days may come,

If the people start with the little things.

Start caring for one another,

No matter who you are.

This world needs a little something called peace,

And it’s not going to happen easily.
