The World Is Perfect

The world is perfect for a moment.

I can step outside my body and watch it all,

Like a film in slow motion i can easily take it all in.

The band is playing from somewhere deep in their souls,

And the crowd is moving as one single body.

The stage lights are transforming from a ocean blue to a fiery ember-like sun,

I swear i could have been seeing an actual piece if out beautiful star.

I can feel the electricity flowing through me and i can see it in everyone surrounding me.

Pure ecstasy courses through me and i know that pain couldn’t possibly exist.

I step back into my body and glance to my right,

The boy i love is standing there and his beautiful hazel eyes are burning green.

I can see the feeling within him too.

The world is perfect for a moment.
