“If the world was my classroom, what would I teach a girl?”
I would teach her to always be herself,
No matter what the world says,
“If the world was my classroom, what would I teach a girl?”
I would listen to her cries for help,
When she feels she can’t do it alone in this world,
“If the world was my classroom, what would I teach a girl?”
I would show her how important she is to me and the world,
Let her know she’s here for a reason,
“If the world was my classroom, what would I teach a girl?”
I would inform her of her beauty inside and out,
No matter what the world says,
“If the world was my classroom, what would I teach a girl?”
She would teach me there’s still hope, to keep trying,
And to never give up on her, the classroom, my world.
