World Unknown
I once was a girl
Just standing alone
Feeling the pull to a world unknown.
As the days go by,
It grows big and strong,
And then like a leaf on the wind
I let go.
I fly and twist
With the breeze in my hair.
I closed my eyes
And go unto a world unknown.
Sadly the pull stops,
And I open my eyes and see
That I'm still just a girl
Standing alone.
But as I walk away,
I turn back and wonder.
Will I ever feel that pull again?
Will I fly and twist like a leaf in the wind?
Will that breeze ever take me away unto that world unknown?
I hope it does as I continue on my way
With something in my heart
Like it was flying away unto that world unknown.
That’s where my heart will stay until I feel the breeze take me away unto that world unknown
