A World to Wander

Every night I lay upon my bed,

On my right side I lay hugging my body pillow tight.

In my dream I dream to be a warrior,

Honing my skills to protect my world.

Courage and bravery were what I lack,

But who cares for this wonderful adventure is what matters at that.

Every night I lay upon my bed,

On my left side I lay hugging my body pillow tight.

In my dream I dream to be a princess.

Locked in a tower away from the world.

But in my tower I read from books,

Of great seas and storms and wondrous forests to be looked.

Every night I lay upon my bed,

On my right side I lay hugging my body pillow tight.

In my dream I dream to be a wolf,

Strong and fast was how I look.

Running far and wide to look for food.

But as I run past mountains and lands,

All I could think about are the adventures I can look.

Every morning as I wake upon my bed,

I tried to recall what it is I have dreamed.

Although lie is cruel and I can never go and travel the world,

At least at night I can dream a world where I can wander.
