This World Is At War

This World Is At War

Many issues, leaving us in a dark room

with no light in sight.

How can we be saved?

when politics makes us change in rage.

Like an earthquake causing mountains

to rumble, America’s reputation

sinking beneath the sink hole.

This World Is At War,

Shootings in New York City

I have this feeling of uncertainty,

Making me feel crazy.

We all have wild hearts

That no one can out spark.

We all voices, that no one

Can shut us up!

We all have hope when

We’re fighting for our rights

and freedom.

We all blend to the American flag

No matter what ethnicity we are,

or from a different country we make

the last deciding vote so why come

and tear myself and these people’s hope?

I see the sunrise across the field

I see the moon covered in half like a sillioute

North Korea has been releasing missiles

Our president challenges people opposing

What’s the reason? What’s the meaning?

We had peace raining in all of these lands

Wildfires that light up Los Angeles prairie fields, making people not safe.

We’re not blind we feel the guilt

We see the true meaning

Walking up the staircase

Each step is a beautiful memory

like a printer that can’t stop printing.

Children’s hopes and dreams that

come together forming a rainbow,

Arching all the hearts and all the certainty

That brings beauty and blue to the seas.

This World Is At War

such as the Dead Sea losing its beauty.

Pollution dancing causing an oily

chemical change, causing

Sea life to start dying.

terrorists choosing to

Hurt innocent souls in the cities.

Women losing there rights to speak freely.

We need to have hope

Let’s stop and think

what was the first thing

That caused all of this

Horrible experiences to start

happening.

We need to focus on the present

and the future and hope

that we will be having peace

come next presidency.
