World War III


It echoed through the house The stinging feeling in my hand as your hand came down Then the grenade exploded Shrapnel slicing through your finger Yet leaving me unharmed The flashing lights of flash bangs The sirens in the distance as World War III commenced The screaming for help The swearing and shoving Even the silver bracelets couldn't keep the explosions away They kept coming The blood that covered the floor Leaking from your figure I will never understand What made you hit her
