The World As We Know It

The waves of blue

With foam only when they crash too hard

Harboring life

Possibilities yet to be discovered

The world as we know it.

Your eyes were waves of blue.

Beautiful and moved by the moon

You reached your high

In the middle of the night

All of your possibilities

Yet to be discovered

The world as you knew it

Gone

Taken by the foam

When you crashed too hard.
