The World we live in

The world we live in

by Josue Sorto

We see the world in rain or shine, but I never saw that

We hear the children laugh and sing, but do we really see that?

We pass through the streets leaving the homeless with out hope

The world we live in is nothing but greed...

We have leaders who trap their citizens

But do we really think this world will change?

We join riots, to change a law

We hide in fear, hoping to take one last breath of peace

We move to find hope, the American Dream as they call it

We laugh again

We find peace, until police arrives and take your rights

We see bussinesses throwing food to animals, the reason: They don't make profit from the homless

We hear the bells ring

We see leaders talk about war

Stock prices rise, we no longer want to buy

We starve

We act like animals

and the cylce repeats..
