A World Without Me

When I remember a world without me, I see shadows swim among the unseen, I hear the depths whisper their silent plea, I’m lost to the darkness beneath the gleam; When I remember a world without me, I see mist moving where no shape can see, I hear lyrics unravelled by human fee, I’m shot through the core, where my soul should be; When I remember a world without me, I see pictures running smoothly and just, I hear a skylarks song; so clear and free, I rest on the breeze –welcomed by the dust of forgotten hopes, clouds, a silver key, Made to remember a world without me.
