World of Words

No one was ever there to listen, no one was ever there to care, I fended with a pen filled with tears. The words that were left behind were permanent, the pain that was alive within subsided. Now those thoughts will forever live on, just short of the mind. The beauty of our world lies in our past, in our memories, in our writings. It is the last thing that we can hold onto. It is the only thing that matters. It is us.
