Psalm 28:7 New English Translation (NET Bible)
7 The Lord strengthens and protects me;
I trust in him with all my heart.
I am rescued and my heart is full of joy;
I will sing to him in gratitude.
A day called “Thanksgiving” in a world of turmoil
In the city called “Washington” love flows to one side
Who knows for certain or it is worth the waiting
Will anything come in return, will any really oblige?
Why even bother when disaster is just around the corner?
The ones who live forever will be the only ones to survive
Time will show the sorrow almost like the fall of Pompey
To disappear in history washed away deep in the night
It does not take an army when God brings judgment
Unless He wants a few here to be saved to tell the story
But even at that, it will not make a big difference
For mankind learns not from the past with all its gory
America an example of what a divided house can be
Intelligence and mightiness lose the most opportunity
Citizens of the world, they are but so are the Chinese
all in the same boat in storms of life chosen fatalities
Destiny does not waver from its appointed path
Slowly all things fall into place for the heathen to conquer
Kind of sad to think that blindness is a celebrated fad
To in most to fulfill the addiction of the power's hunger
Huffy puffy characters and some thin as a rail
Products of their own making a self-serving crowd
Predestined it seems like a losing Judas being stale
Sold out by their flesh first as so it now turned out
