The World's Dark Truths

I enjoy Nothing

For what is there to enjoy

I relax when I feel

The world burn

Self destruct

My blood is acid

So let us drink

Sip as though we need it

Death is the only light

And life is the darkness

Disappointment controls

Our unreliable souls

Turn away and face the lies

You learned to hate

If you only love the truth

It’s still burning

The world

We sit sipping our blood

We laugh as we watch

The world crumbles

Cry when we see it

Pick itself back up

From the debris

What are we

Animals sit at the table

Watch TV

Sleep in beds

Humans walk on four legs

Drink from bowls

And howl at the moon

Fully empty Hearts

Of lead
