The World's Effect

As a child, everything seemed so pure.  It turns out that I was just seeing the world in a blur.  Being so innocent, how could I even think of how the world really was.  I could not wait to be grown up, so I can be on my own, have my own job, and my own family.  Little did I know growing up would make the world so clear.  There is the good and the bad, but the bad is just makes us so sad.  Seeing the world, I really live in was not as pure as I once thought it was.  I watch the news and hear some things, but the most tragic events never seem to make the news. Is it because it deals with people of color or is it just not important enough for our other brothers?  The world only shows us what they want us to see, and many are so naive to believe those who tell us that is all there is.  Being a person of color just makes growing up more difficult.  Having to grow up and realize how unfair this world is to people of color is saddening.  Everything that is happening in the world now just opens my eyes and shows me a difference needs to be made.  Sending out positivity and love makes a difference in this cold world.  Sometimes, I wish I could go back to being a kid with everything so simple and so pure.  There is no real way to cure this cold world.
